The view of my digital life

I found a web site that shows a picture of my digital life.  It was very easy to create.  I just combined the web sites that I used ( youtube, twitter and facebook) in this intel web site.  It automatically showed me which topics I talked about mostly, with whom I talked about mostly etc...  This picture looks like a brain storming activity and it is a nice look to see what you did in a general view in facebook, twitter and youtube.

WeVideo

WeVideo is a web site which you can create a collaborative video. It looks like windows live movie maker.  However, you can create videos online now.

       The features:

  • With the help of theme scenes, you can add a different atmosphere to your video according to its content.
  • Videos, photos and audios are available in the video together.
  • Small notes in the captures make your video more meaningful.
  • You can share your video with your friends on facebook or twitter.
...

Additionally, this is now available in youtube.
This video can be used for the students in terms of warm- up stage in the lesson, discussions, breaking the boring atmosphere in the class, the students' homework.  For now, I just tried creating a video about my little sparrow.  I chose a memory theme for my video.  I think it needs a bit more time to arrange timeline and  notes on the pictures.

Shake your story (TED talks)

I am very impressed after watching this video. I have known I-Pads; however I did not know how it is impressive. In the video, Mr. Raghava said he created stories, but it changes in terms of view when you shake the I-PAD . This can be used while teaching the students history. Or while teaching a language, to combine or to teach some differences between the two languages to the students is very important, so I can first show the students our cultural schema, then I can shake it and it turns to target language's cultural schema. It is very enjoyable both for the teachers and the students.
